Kicking off the conference, Linda Fisher Thornton, author of 7 Lenses: Learning the Principles and Practices of Ethical Leadership, will share her model for seeing ethical complexity and offer some guiding principles for learning ethical leadership. On Monday, Dr. Kand McQueen, who studies issues of the transgender experience, intersexuality and the inadequacies of the two-and-only-two sex/gender way of thinking, will make the case for a greater acceptance of ALL human beings. Rounding out the conference, Phyllis Braxton-Frierson, who has worked in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) for more than 20 years and serves as CEO and founder of PINK Consulting, will share how we can build a common foundation of understanding around DEI in our campus communities.
