hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666; font-size: 26px;\">Who Should Submit a Proposal?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Higher ed HR professionals with a story to tell or expertise to share<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Subject matter experts who have unique insight into the challenges facing higher ed HR<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking for presenters to share their how-tos, best practices, case studies and lessons learned on the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruitment and retention (responding to the current talent crisis)<\/li>\n<li>Talent development (developing internal talent, supporting retention, helping fill recruitment gaps)<\/li>\n<li>Mental health (for HR, self-care, preventing burnout, benefits, programs, culture)<\/li>\n<li>Flexible work<\/li>\n<li>DEI (&#8220;invisible&#8221; diversity, intersectionality, disability inclusion)<\/li>\n<li>Campus climate and the role of HR<\/li>\n<li>Managing difficult conversations<\/li>\n<li>Using HR data to drive leadership decision-making and strategy<\/li>\n<li>Legislative and regulatory compliance challenges (FLSA, FMLA, Title IX, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Successful and innovative approaches to higher ed HR work<\/li>\n<li>Other timely higher ed HR topics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Only CUPA-HR members are eligible to submit a presentation proposal for the annual conference.<\/strong> If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact <a href=\"mailto:memberservice@cupahr.org\"><span>memberservice@cupahr.org<\/span><\/a> for details on membership and the dues amount for your institution or organization.
