Attendee FAQs

How do I export session materials and my notes from the conference app?

Session Materials: If presenters provided handouts for their sessions, you can find the links on the session pages in the app. Go to the Schedule, click the specific session, and look for the Handouts button. To export session materials, go to the session’s detail page, click Export in the upper right corner, enter your email address, select the handouts you want to export, and click Send.

Personal Schedule, Contacts, Booths and Notes: On the app Home screen, click MyEvent, click Export in the upper right corner, select the personal list(s) you want to export, and click Send. (Note: You must have an email account set up on your device’s built-in email app in order to export MySchedule, MyContacts, MyBooths and MyNotes.)

If my institution sends more than one attendee to the conference, is there a registration discount?

Yes. When one person from a member institution purchases a full registration to the conference, any other individuals from that institution who register by the early registration deadline (March 3) will receive a discounted rate as outlined on the registration page. The discount is only available to CUPA-HR members and does not apply to one-day registrations.

Is the conference at the hotel?

Keynotes, sessions and the Expo are all held in the meeting space at Sheraton Grand Seattle.

Should I budget meals outside of what the conference offers?

That depends on your dietary needs. Full conference registration fees include the following:

Opening Reception and Monday Reception in the Expo — Various appetizers along with beverages
Two Breakfasts
Two Lunches

One-day registration fees do not include all the above items, but do include the meals and breaks at the conference on the day of your registration.

Should you have any questions or extensive dietary restrictions, email [email protected].

Can I bring a guest?

Yes. Guest pricing information is available in the registration section of our website, and you’ll have the option to add a guest registration when you register for the conference. Contact [email protected] with questions.

Will I get HRCI or SHRM credits for attending, and how do I get the credits?

The conference has been pre-approved by HRCI and SHRM for 8.0 continuing education credits. The recertification form will be included in a post-conference email to attendees.

As an international attendee, do I need to obtain a visa?
